Villa Muggia

Villa Muggia

The house, “Villa” in Italian, has gone under a restoration process in 1936-8 by architects Piero Bottoni and Mario Pucci, starting from a hunting-lodge of the 1700. Unfortunately the purist volumes of this italian masterpiece of residential rationalist architecture lived few years and survived briefly to the IIWW, when it first become a nazi headquarter and then a bomb destroyed the living room.

In 1979 the green area and from the 1994 the Villa as well are listed under the preservation order.
